It all begins with getting to know you. We start with a personal consultation so we can understand your style, your space, and what you want your portraits to feel like. We’ll talk through locations, wardrobe, and how you envision displaying your artwork at home. This is where your story, personality, and ideas become the inspiration for everything that follows.
The session. Relax, we’ve got this.
Portrait sessions don’t have to feel stressful. With Gallery Portraiture, they’re relaxed, guided, and yes — fun. Kids can be kids. Personalities are welcome. We embrace a little organized chaos because that’s where real moments live. Sessions are often held outdoors at meaningful or iconic Kansas City locations. You show up. We take care of the rest.
The presentation. This is where it all comes together.
You’ll return for a private image reveal and design appointment where we walk through your portraits together. We’ll help you select your favourites and design finished artwork — wall pieces, albums, or collections — based on your space and vision. Every piece is custom designed, crafted, and finished with intention and care.
The installation. From our hands to your walls.
Once your artwork is complete, it’s ready for pickup or professional delivery and installation. If we’re hanging your pieces, we ensure everything is placed perfectly so you can simply enjoy seeing your memories come to life in your home. Because these aren’t just portraits. A full session at Gallery Portraiture is a high-end, custom creative experience. Portraits are tailored to each client, with unique artwork designed to fit your home and lifestyle. We create art installations, not just photographs, and accept a limited number of sessions each year to ensure every client receives our full creative attention.
We offer flexible à la carte portrait pricing so you only purchase what you love. When families fall in love with their photographs, most choose to invest $1,500 and up in their custom portrait session and finished artwork. No packages, no pressure — just intentional, high-quality portraits designed for you.
